Papers, 1887-[1913?].

Cashbook, family expense book, and notebook of the de Groot and related Hawley families. William de Groot's cashbook (Jan. 1888-June 1891) records income and expenses related to dividends, interest, notes, stock transactions, salaries, rent, etc. and family expense book (1887-1906) records monthly payments for household expenses, stock dividends received, and the will of Grace La Tourette de Groot on the final page. Notebook apparently kept by several people (1900-1913?) contains accounts, copies of letters, memoranda, and one loose piece of correspondence relating to the settlement of several estates including: Emmeline S. Hawley, Charles Hawley, and Elizabeth King Hawley.
